Scrub & Butter is a recovery-first skincare brand for women who move, balance it all, and do the most. Thoughtfully crafted, each moisture-rich formula supports recovery, encourages stillness and gently reminds you to take care of yourself too.Β
Skin is often left out of recovery conversations, even though tightness, dryness, irritation, and fatigue show up there just as clearly as they do in the body. Scrub & Butter bridges the gap between performance and softness, offering deep hydration and soothing support without complicated routines or unrealistic expectations.
Scrub & Butter began in 2018, in founder Lauren Griffithβs momβs kitchen. A former NCAA Division I basketball player, Lauren was taught that strength meant pushing throughβbut years of intense movement left her skin dry, reactive, and overlooked. In 2022, motherhood and postpartum eczema reshaped her understanding of recovery, teaching her to choose care over exhaustion and listen to her body instead of pushing through.
Scrub & Butter was built on that belief: that softness is how we recover, and recovery is what keeps us going.
